THE FIRST NUMBER IN BAG SIZE IS THE OPEN SIDE. On laminated reclosable bags for the outside dimensions add 1/2" horizontally and 1" vertically and bags have a hole punched above the seal. On all BUT the 3x724, the inside dimension from the zipper to the bottome of the bag is approx. 3 3/4". The 3x724 is 4".
