This material is used when packaging worms and other soft plastic lures. It makes them feel alive. It is not a sales gimmick! It really helps to catch more fish because the lure will feel more life like. Worms can be soaked in worm oil and then packaged or a small amount can be added to the package. A little of this goes a long way. Caution! Do not use mineral oil on worms. Mineral oil will tend to draw the chemicals out of the worms causing the colors to bleed and the worms will shrink and turn harder.
You can also use worm oil mixed with our concentrated scents 50/50 or 70/30 and spray on your baits after they are made. Scent can be heat sensitive and even though you can smell it if you put it in your plastic when cooking it, once your baits have set, they can lose some of that smell. By spraying it on the baits, the worm oil is a component of the plastic and is a carrier for the scent to impegnate into the baits. Beats smelling up your pouring area by cooking the scent too!!!
